Developed by Electrical Engineers, SchemBAT is a dedicated CAD software for networking design of building.
 General information
With 20 years of experience, the schematic software SchemBAT targets its aims: reliability, ergonomics and opening. SchemBAT manages with special tools the cabling of the different equipments of your buildings and habitat (electrical infrastuctures and lighting, communication cabling and telephone systems, audio, video, optic fiber, computer systems and networking).
Graphic editor
SchemBAT is based on a full graphic editor compatible with Autocad™ format for reading or writing.
Libraries
SchemBAT is provided a complete package of graphic libraries (cabinet, sockets, lighting...). It includes components data bases supplied by manufactures to extract bill of materials.
For your frames, you could use your own logo with different formats (DWG™, DXF™, BMP™, JPEG™, PNG™, TIFF™...) and manage cross references as your usual method.
Project
All libraries could be customized and allow you to start quickly your full projects : layout plans, schematic, terminal blocks, numbering, bill of materials, cabinet layout, reports.
With many auto checking processes, SchemBAT helps you to eliminate errors during the design layout cycle:, uniqueness of names, short circuit test, tests of polarities, cross-references...
According with your quality chart, SchemBAT manages indexes of page modifications too.
Compatibility with standards
SchemBAT is open to standard tools with graphic format which reads or writes DWG™, DXF™, MI™ , PDF™ , HTML™, Meta File. The databases can be in ASCII files or linked by ODBC™ with Oracle™, Access™, SQL server™... All theses reports could be read with usual table editor (Excel™,...) or inserted in the project. The schematic pages follow the different norms: CEI, JIS, ANSI, DIN, BS. SchemBAT is available on the different MicrosoftTM platforms and can be set standalone or in a network configuration.
SchemBAT is a part of the range of products designed by FTZ.
SchemBAT can be linked with SchemEXPLORER to manage the projects too.
